Inspired
You should write a book! I’ve heard this a lot over the years. Ever since I decided at 16 I would move to China to teach English after high school. Since then, my adult life has been a whirlwind that's included living in six countries. And getting myself into all kinds of trouble and fun, often hearing I'm 'inspirational' or 'brave'.
Neither of those ever felt right to me. I've always felt more inspired than inspiring. Ever since I could remember I was always drawn to see beyond life's constraints and push the limits. (I was a real pain in the butt child.)
Essentially, I will have this big dream/idea and then a pull or "calling". Following it has taken me to some pretty incredible places and people. Maybe it's God? Maybe it's hypomania? I can tell you it's big and it's powerful.
As I was pondering this branch, I realized that looking back over my adult life I can now articulate what I could once only feel. I share them not because I need an online list of accomplishments, but because this entire blog is another one of these inspired 'callings'. I have no idea where it may lead, but enjoy my musings of my inspired self.
